Bauru-Tûr is a geographic region situated in the southern reaches of Hells Womb. During the Great Exodus (998 - 1017), this area was settled by Tragaran refugees. Under the rule of the Kal-Oni Empire, the region boasted vast pastures and abundant mineral reserves extracted from the surrounding hills. However, during the Kal-Oni War, the towns, castles, and the capital city of Zayr were largely reduced to ruins.
The region currently features numerous remnants of the Kal-Onean and Black Tide civilizations. Bauru-Tûr is haunted by the spectral remnants of fallen empires. Scattered amidst the ruins are thousands of burial mounds and graves, some of which are believed to conceal the resting place of an undead soldier from the Pitch Bone Legion.
