Cells of Ten-Thousand Shackles

Built during the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) , this subterranean prison housed those who served the Abyssal Hegemony. Facing a numerically superior adversary, this Covenant prison was continuously expanded. Earthen labor divisions, supplied by Geb, undertook most of the construction. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the prison was its magical restraints, capable of shackling 10,000 inmates. One of the temporal marvels of Chronos, once bound, the prisoner's body entered a state of hibernation. True imprisonment followed, with their psyche transferred to a distant prison world within the Tartarus System. On a world known as Endearing Shackles, the prisoner's psyche would wander. If they managed to inhabit a new corpse, they could serve their sentence in physical form; yet if killed in this new host, their hibernating body in the Cells of Ten-Thousand Shackles would also perish.
