Built by Danzar-Khâl, this world is located in the Tartarus System. Named Endearing Shackles, it was specifically forged as a prison world for primordials and their minions. Constructed during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), it has great confining areas, such as valleys hemmed in by mountains or bottomless bogs, islands surrounded by hungry foes, rugged terrain, and limited resources. There is significant variation in these "cells," with some being prisons by virtue of their terrain and lack of resources, while others present challenges for the crafty, like perpetually changing subterranean mazes. Concepts of escape were often thwarted by the scarcity of resources on the outside, whether expansive voids or verdant lands teeming with wild beasts and feral escapees.

In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), the Covenant operated a prison for demons and their allies. Facing overwhelming numbers and with most of the Covenant's leaders opposed to the idea of showing no quarter, they resorted to using magical devices to manage the prison population. At the Cells of Ten-Thousand Shackles, the psyches of the prisoners were sent to Endearing Shackles, where they competed for recently deceased hosts. By the end of the Demon Spawn War, the Covenant's sentences had expired, and thousands of demon prisoners decided to remain on Endearing Shackles, with most preferring their newfound positions of power or the freedom over becoming a lackey to some Demon Lord.

When Thasmudyan ascended to divinity, his essence was such that Endearing Shackles became his domain. Imitating the actions of Rioch Tetrax, Thasmudyan raided ancient prisons, bestowing new purpose upon bones and the deceased. With the ingenious craftsmanship of Maen Saetild, they fashioned legions of undead, their loyal servants and subjects.
