Gelakgizal is an expansive mountain range situated along the border of the Sands of Hell. Originating at Klo'nah Lomok, the range spans the entire distance to Hullbreaker Bay. These towering peaks serve as the sole barrier preventing the encroaching desert from overtaking the lush lands to the west.
Gelakgizal is home to thousands of Goblin tribes perpetually engaged in conflict with one another. Their wars, commonly known as the Culling Wars, often stem from disputes over scarce resources and burgeoning populations. This longstanding issue dates back to the Age of Creation, when Tita'gob granted exceptional fertility to a specific group of goblins, leading other tribes to designate them as the Brood-kin, a people whose growth has historically precipitated tensions and clashes over available resources.
During the First Bughor War, numerous Brood-kin tribes dispatched their "surplus" forces to the armies of Ilbaragûn.
