This towering, rugged plateau houses the citadel of Rib'git. This formidable stronghold was constructed to safeguard the Hand of Gith, a god-forged artillery piece that remains permanently cloaked by a veil spell. Alarm spells and aerial and ground patrols steadfastly guard this remarkable marvel.
A network of passages and chambers lie within the plateau. Scattered about the ridge of the Ithar plateau are several gas vents. These exhaust vents release the toxic gas produced by firing the Hand of Gith.
In the year 1476, one of these vents was utilized by Squad X7E (see Precision Strike) to transiently disable the Hand of Gith.
