In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), the spires of Bileddanul served as a critical source of Mithril. Fueling the Covenant's war efforts under Naraz-Nâru, raw materials were transported along rail lines collectively known as the Glittering Serpent - a moniker derived from the rugged gorges and canyons that dotted the routes, where shattered ore carts lay strewn. At the terminus of the Glittering Serpent, the mined ores were smelted and processed at the forge areas of Izanargam.
In the Covenant battles against Demogorgon, pushing northward from Hells Womb, Izanargam evolved into a formidable foundry and supply depot. Following the Covenant forces' triumph over the demons, Izanargam's personnel, predominantly Turkûn, were left to fend for themselves. By war's conclusion, with a populace of 20,000 individuals, Izanargam became the epicenter of Turkûn civilization for hundreds of miles.
In the year 1306 HE, Izanargam was established as the capital of the Gimhak Monarchy.
In the year 1479 of the Gimhak War (1470 - 1479), the city of Izanargam succumbed to the might of the Orchish Empire.
