Founded by the renowned Eneriyes, the greatest of the female Ogre Lords, the river bastion known as Norgtrum served as a vital trade center, the midpoint for commerce flowing between Saer'kal to the north, the people of Dumugon to the east, and their southern rivals, the Gúra. Until the Second Epoch, it also functioned as a neutral zone, a place to resolve disputes between the city-states, factions, and individuals. Norgtrum's arenas and fighting pits gained renown for settling matters on a smaller scale when the alternative was outright war.

In the year 1802, Norgtrum became a territory under the domain of the Toomrur Hegemony.

Crafted by the Toomrur, Norgtrum bears little resemblance to the typical ogre stronghold. Instead, it stands as a formidable fortress, rivaling the eminent citadels of the Zeymah'kein.

In the final year of the Crimson Offensive (1804 - 1810), Norgtrum succumbed to the Army of Nox. Once the conflict concluded, it became a territorial holding of the corporation known as Crimson Eye.
