Osar'ged is one of eight venerable monasteries within the Kuli-Cir Forest. During the Demon Spawn War, they served as training grounds for Covenant monks, mentalists, and martial practitioners. Like the other ancient strongholds, Osar'ged was constructed by forces loyal to the Covenant general Ptah.
In the year 1545 HE, Githzerai refugees who had fled the Incarsabec Rebellion (1531 HE - 1544 HE), found their way to the world Bal-Kriav. Guided, it is said, by their deity Ptah, they journeyed towards Kuli-Cir, reclaiming its ancient monasteries.
