The vast, primeval forest of Pellangoth lies to the south of Fros Idar and to the east of Achamâz. Situated at the heart of Skycius, Pellangoth is renowned for its uneven, challenging terrain characterized by towering hills and a dense, labyrinthine undergrowth.

Pellangoth is the domain of a community of earth giants, Theegans, and numerous goblin tribes. The goblins reside underground within an extensive network of tunnels that likely span the forest's length and breadth. These cunning creatures have devised an array of treacherous pit traps that can ensnare even the giants. Alongside the humanoid inhabitants, Pellangoth's denizens include colossal spiders, giant sloths, carnivorous plants, ferocious bears, and a host of other formidable beasts. It is not uncommon to witness goblin war parties mounted on gigantic spiders or Theegans charging into battle atop armored dire bears.

The forest encompasses a diverse array of plant life, spanning from cold-adapted species in the west to those flourishing in the humid environs where Pellangoth converges with the steaming pools of Cibothrâr. Amidst this verdant tapestry, two particularly perilous plants stand out: the hydrogen pods near the wetlands and the black lotus in the foothills of Fros Idar.

There are three expansive sinkholes and numerous smaller cavities that descend downward from this forested area. The three substantial holes are supplied by sizeable streams that transform into cascading waterfalls plunging into the Heliotrope Sea.
