Quellestir is an evergreen woodland expanse stretching from the ramparts of Moglúr to the shores of Lake Virgath. For millennia, it served as a seasonal abode for the Forstneblin. This verdant realm was one of the rest stops for a nomadic populace who traversed the lands of Grashakh and Cinazan with the changing seasons, establishing temporary settlements along the way.
By the First Epoch, the Forstneblin had settled in a solitary region. In Quellestir, they were compelled to relocate their dwellings beneath the forest floor, remaining close to nature's foundations. Here, they possessed a superior opportunity to withstand the escalating Jara raiders from the Tribe Steppes. In the Year 135, the Butchers of Mongor ravaged the area. Thousands perished in this onslaught, and all their surface settlements were trampled and reduced to cinders.
Quellestir is littered with dilapidated forts and keeps. The majority were constructed to guard the canal and military routes of the Core Offensive ( 1749 - 1760 ) . Upon the Orchish Empire reaching the Core Sea, the Treaty of Quellestir was ratified. Excepting the segments along the northward waterways, the land was returned to its initial proprietors.
The enclaves of the werebadgers, riders of dire wolves, blood drinkers of Balanosa's Navel, inhabit the untamed and unbridled lands of Quellestir. It is within these regions that the majority of northern Grashakh's druids commence their journey.

Quellestir's southernmost regions, situated beyond the dreaded Mazgob fens, are a dark and ominous place. This territory is inhabited by carnivorous plants, vampires, ghouls, cannibalistic bugbears, and other malevolent entities, and remains unclaimed. As was the case during the era of Glangveif's jarls, one must circumvent this area rather than traverse through it. During the months of War March and Bloom, from morning to noon, these southern tracts are blanketed by the Virgaths Grip, a dense fog originating from the nearby Virgath lake, which severely restricts visibility.
