Tadab-Hal is a vast, flat plain bordered on the southern edge by the verdant forest of Kuli-Cir and extending 350 miles northward to the voracious tendrils of Taurquion. Westward, the plain is hemmed in by the evergreen boughs of Kuli-Cir and the blasted, desolate expanse of Yagolorn. The eastern boundary of Tadab-Hal is defined by the flowing river Hound Wash, the towering peaks of the Canines, and the river Anassúmë.
Garormuk lays claim to this plain as part of their sovereign territory, tracing the ownership back to the era of the Drugnods. However, when the Theegans migrated to the Northern Hordelands, they disputed this claim through conquest. Since then, the Theegans and Zyrath's western gnolls have frequently engaged in skirmishes over the region. Due to the area's considerable distance from the centers of power of both the Witch Horde and Garormuk, only a handful of wars have arisen from the attempts to control the expansive territory of Tadab-Hal.
Tadab-Hal serves as the seasonal grazing ground for tens of thousands of wild horses. They migrate to this region during the fall and winter, then move northwest into the Arnandab area when the climate is more temperate. These horses, alongside numerous other herd animals, provide a source of domestication for the Theegans and sustenance for the gnolls and other predators inhabiting the Northern Hordelands.
