Demacians are an ogre subspecies concentrated in the lands of Amachan and parts of eastern Brucrumus. The Demacians were created during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE) from captive Shou. Warped by prolonged exposure to entropic energies, they became ogre-like humanoids with three eyes, an intellect superior to that of a typical ogre, and physical features strikingly similar to the Shou.
Demacians are swift adopters of civilization, acting akin to their neighboring peoples. Within the lands of Amachan, many of their kind follow Geejudan. Their belief on how this should be enacted is heavily weighted toward the entropic side.
The Demacians often pursue non-martial disciplines like that of the ogre-magi, favoring the Way of the Mind over the Arcane arts. The majority of these psionic practitioners are classified as Wilders.
