Modrons are artificial beings brought into existence by the Third Instructor. Some believe their recorded creation date of 19 Artifice 81 DE represents their reemergence rather than initial formation; the notion being the Modron are not novel creations, but rather construction schematics that lay dormant since the Lost Ages.

The people are highly regimented and law-abiding, native to the worlds of Mechanus, with Regulus serving as their capital.

As modrons advance in station, they gradually become less purely mechanical and take on a more organic nature.
