The Tungesti, of human stock, are the work of a Creationist named Bal-Kriav. Seeding the world of Kriav, they were tasked with aiding in the looming Primordial threat; a threat that within ten generations evolved into the Creation War, spanning the years 1486 DE to 8777 DE.
The Tungesti, one of the peoples transformed by the Cube Collapse of 1301 DE, were imbued with the energy of a destroyed Cube of Arcane. This rendered them even more ruggedly temperamental, preferring the untamed wilds over the confines of civilization, and fortified against arcane energies. One group, assaulted while mounted, became fused with their steeds, giving rise to the realm's first Centaur.
