Baltalas

Baltalas, the scion of Kossuth, is a formidable Primordial. During the tumultuous Creation War, he rose in power, ascending to the rank of Primordial Lord. While his father and sibling Surtur were engaged in battle against the Nawirrûs Covenant, Baltalas ruled over the fiery domain of Muspelheim - a realm they had seized by force early in the conflict.

Baltalas's most calamitous contributions to the Creation War were his offspring, the Progeny of Baltalas. These abominations sowed devastation in their wake and continue to persist even now.

In the God Era, Surtur endeavored to claim Muspelheim as his domain. He was aided in a century-long campaign to seize the realm by Ares and several others, driven by the objective of bringing it under the sway of Law, rather than allowing it to remain a Primordial dominion. During the war to capture this world, Surtur slew his brother Baltalas, earning the enmity of his father Kossuth.
