Abyssal Energy, born of the Threads of Damnation, is concentrated in an expansive system of worlds called the Abyss. Home to demon-kind, abyssal energy is sometimes referred to as demoniac energy, the fundamental substance for creating new demons. Locations long exposed to abyssal energy take on aspects of the Abyss. Two notable examples are the Cilarrion Region of the world Kriav, and the Isle of Turgon on Bal-Kriav.
Make no mistake, the demons have never relinquished their objectives. Failing to seize Quara'tun by force, they scatter their spawn across the lands - the Abyssal Infused, the Azwyr Amoruk, the Orc, and the Troll.
