In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), this region fell under the dominion of the primordials. It would remain in their control for a significant portion of the conflict. The primordials invaded this area of the world known as Kriav through the Henmona Rift. When the Golden Seven succeeded in closing the rift, the primordial forces were cut off and ultimately eradicated.
In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), the Henmona Rift was reactivated by a demon lord named Sathumort. Accompanied by his formidable demon army, he launched an assault on territories under the surveillance of Covenant general Corellon.
The fey of this domain had long been under primordial and then demonic sway, causing them to adopt the traits of their overlords. Some were tainted by abyssal energies, inherently wicked and malicious. The inaugural quicklings, malevolent fey, originated in this area.
