The Hakkhild are an Earth Giant tribe inhabiting the northern region of Ânul. Prior to the First Epoch, this tribe resided on the opposite side of the Dargirth, in the tall forested hills of Eylami. Around the commencement of the Second Epoch, they began occupying land and settling in Ânul, citing game scarcity across Eylami as the impetus. When the Khazarkar Empire expanded westward into Cinazan, the Hakkhild allied with them and reduced Eylami's "over-crowding." Since then, the Hakkhild have remained steadfast allies of the Khazarkar Empire, receiving ample compensation and provisions while serving as a "Khazarkar" deterrent to the Storm Duke of Griddrir.
