The Burns, or Burn Wars, were conflicts between Mir'piamauza and the Zeymah'kein. Just over fifty years following the Third Burn (1504 HE - 1522 HE), the final Burn War was waged between the Zeymah'kein and the Mir'piamauza.
Starting a year after the Third Dragon Wake (1575 HE - 1576 HE), when dragons ran rampant across the Aerie of Dragons, the land and peoples sought to recover. Zeymah'kein bore the brunt, with the Church of Tiamat claiming the Aerie's dragons had grown weary of Bahamut's interference. Mir'piamauza capitalized on Zeymah'kein's weakened state, launching a large-scale assault their general staff predicted would bring their enemies to their knees within five years - a forecast that proved vastly inaccurate.
The Theocracy of Galirkrad joined the war on the side of Mir'piamauza in 1583 HE, as promised with Zeymah'kein's downfall, which was to mark the end of all veneration of Bahamut.
The war concluded with the collapse of Zeymah'kein's seat of power on 9 Witchrite 1600 HE.
