The Theocracy of Galirkrad was established upon the widespread veneration of Tiamat. Residents were mandated to be pious, engage in fervent prayer, and, most crucially, contribute to the Church's substantial platinum treasury.

Galirkrad was situated within the frigid, inhospitable expanse of Sotiisk'lum. Their secluded position, well-suited for defensive purposes, rendered them a formidable target for those coveting their territory, the Ashmerthoon, or those intent on eradicating their principles, such as the crusaders emanating from Zeymah'kein.

In 1293 HE, the settlement Viing Prolgiid was established by Zeymah'kein exiles. The majority of these individuals were devoted followers of Tiamat with steadfast beliefs. Their acts of insurrection, sabotage, and murder became so severe that they were expelled from Zeymah'kein during the Platinum Inquisition (1279 HE - 1290 HE). The exiles, numbering several thousand, traveled far eastward into Krein Jusk where they could worship their dark deity without persecution.

In 1301 HE, Viing Prolgiid's cabal was overthrown by Kriistvrii yearning for something more than just temples and a solitary city-state. The military, led by battle priests of Tiamat, established the autocratic nation of Galirkrad. The leadership was entrusted to a blue dragon named Voduliik Mulhaan. At the time, it was believed that this role would serve as a mere figurehead, steered by the priests and generals. However, unbeknownst to them, cultists had been grooming Voduliik Mulhaan for many years. She proved to be exceptionally cunning and highly intelligent. The selection of a Dragon as ruler was an unusual departure from the Kriistvrii tradition, which for the last seven centuries, dating back to their time with the Zeymah'kein Empire, had exclusively reserved the leadership for the Kriistvrii people. The Church claimed this decision came from the top, the will of Tiamat, initiating a belief that dragons were superior beings deserving of reverence.

In the year 1725 HE, the fortress city of Galirkrad fell to the relentless kobold hordes of the Ashmerthoon Empire. However, the massive underground complex beneath Viing Prolgiid withstood the invaders' assault. Whitefang, a lone survivor, remains as a testament to the enduring legacy of Galirkrad's civilization.
