In the year 396, Phlehorn dispatched the Daklode clan on a mission to secure and colonize the northern mountains bordering the High Wood Country. By 398, they had established the settlement of Tarbhunarâg. In the battles to secure a portion of the Gakhs, they engaged in combat with hill giants, frost giants, goblins, gnolls, wyverns, and other formidable creatures.
In 425, the city of Tarbhunarâg formally seceded from the dominion of Phlehorn. Two years thereafter, the sovereign city-state of Tarbhunarâg was elevated as the seat of the Daklode Monarchy, with General Irazân Daklode ascending as its inaugural monarch.
Daklode has the distinct privilege of overseeing the northern boundaries of the Clans territory. They engaged in two formidable wars with the Spirachiln and several conflicts with the Rúmil.
Daklode was the first empire to widely incorporate steam engines into their operations. They were the preeminent members of the Clan Council that advocated for the establishment of an expansive railroad network, the Kibar-Kûn.
One of the more hazardous components of Daklode's ground forces are its owlbears. With hundreds mobilized, they serve as the initial shock troops deployed into combat.
