The noble Tragaran family of Tyrian traced its origins to the illustrious Cal-Thaoun Dynasty. During the zenith of this imperial regime in Gulimbor, the Tyrians had emerged as an influential family with burgeoning commercial endeavors in cargo logistics and maritime construction.
When the Cal-Thaoun Dynasty fled across the seas during the Great Exodus (998 - 1017), the Tyrians found themselves shipwrecked along the northern coasts of Ma'Ohari. Fortunately, they were discovered when Elderaunts came ashore to procure water. A week later, after the Battle of Satheon, the elderaunts retrieved them and transported them to Ivory Asylum. Since these were military ships, they were not permitted to take the Tyrians to Brucrumus, where the other refugees of Cal-Thaoun had migrated.
The Tyrians ultimately remained at Ivory Asylum and acquired citizenship. Over the subsequent two centuries, the Tyrian family amassed considerable wealth and established a shipping enterprise known as the Tyrian League. The family's principal holdings are located in Rîni.
