In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , this location served as a naval base for the Nawirrûs Covenant. Known as Rîni, the Supernal term for "Ring," it was one of the Covenant's defensive fortifications protecting military sector Athoreon. Rîni posed a threat to Poseidon's forces operating in the Salzârrâk Sea, prompting the deity to invest immense resources into constructing a dam that would block two bays.
What shall we do about Poseidon's Dam ?
We shall permit him to continue channeling resources into the endeavor; mayhaps he will complete it by the cessation of hostilities.
Poseidon and his contingent of sea titans completed the dam a century prior to the war's conclusion. Even with the entirety of Straiden under the Covenant's control, he resolutely pressed on with the project. The dam ultimately resulted in both bays losing half their volume, stranding vessels and rendering Rîni uninhabitable. Diminished in military significance, Poseidon and his modest army proceeded to pillage the area, leaving it in a state of desolation.
In the year 1686 HE, elder aunts of the Abusai tribe commenced the restoration of this seaside ruin.
The principal shipyards of Midrêth are situated in this bustling metropolis. Not merely do they construct naval vessels here, but a considerable quantity of void-faring craft also emerge from its soaring docking infrastructure.
The city's predominant racial groups are Elderaunts and Giff.
