Quadrax was established by Karsec, a deformed Grimlock who survived a Toadoolp Twist. Having escaped his Kuo-toa captors, he embarked on an extended voyage to comprehend what he termed an illuminating experience. The team that collaborated with him grew to be known as the Quadrax, comprising intrepid explorers, adventurers, and lore enthusiasts.
In 180 GE, evading his pursuers proved impossible for Karsec, who was ultimately captured and drained of his most closely guarded secrets. His tragic demise at the hands of the Soothsayers of Blipool transformed the Quadrax from scholars seeking arcane knowledge into relentless kuo-toa hunters. For generations, they menaced the kuo-toa strongholds of Blibdoolpoolp Bosom, orchestrating ambushes on patrols, executing acts of sabotage, and ransoming high-profile captives.
Early in the Lith-Crillion Era, Quadrax relocated their headquarters to the city of Blipool, where Karsec had been drained of his knowledge and killed. For five decades, Quadrax remained in Blipool, studying the Toadoolp Twists, Arcana's Rip, Moltaria, and other peculiar areas, before moving on to other locations tied to elemental energies.
Today, headquartered in the Eastern Shar, Quadrax is a monastic order comprising monks, psionicists, and others whose interests lie in the elemental forces.
Members of this guild master the manipulation of fire, water, earth, and air energies, granting +1 DC and +1 additional damage per die to spells that utilize these forces.
