Blipool

Blipool, the southernmost city of Blibdoolpoolp Bosom, birthplace of the Kuo-toa, originated as a processing site for captives destined for the Second Toadoolp Twist. At the time, this area was an Entropic Pond, transforming Kuo-toa from those tossed into the waters flooded with entropic energy. The survivors of this ordeal were taken to indoctrination centers, where they were attended to by the city's doctors, the Soothsayers of Blipool. Working under the command of Blibdoolpoolp, an ex-soldier of the demon lord Athroond, they ensured that the subjects were not mentally compromised by their transformation. However, this was not a flawless process, leading to variations among the Kuo-toa, such as monitors and whips, and their propensity for insanity.

After Blibdoolpoolp departed the mortal realm, ascending to a Higher Power, she transformed the Toadoolp Twists. The pools used for Kuo-toa creation became gateways to distant lands. Locales such as Moolowik and Blipool evolved into great, partially submerged citadels, controlling the rift's traffic. The Soothsayers of Blipool gained increased influence following Blibdoolpoolp's exodus, delving deeper into the workings of the mind - often to the detriment of those in captivity.

Home to amphibious and terrestrial creatures alike, a portion of Blipool comprises an underwater metropolis, illuminated by enchanted luminaries and peppered with thousands of glassteel panes. Certain areas can be accessed from the drier upper reaches, while others necessitate an aquatic excursion.
