Ryglaglanis Vrankalli

Ryglaglanis commenced his professional journey as a member of the Black Banner. His family were devout adherents of Asmodeus. His father served as a captain of the Githlarâk, while his mother presided over House Vrankalli and held the esteemed position of high priestess at the Church of the Ninth Pillar in Paradomea City.

In 1467, when Raxcvillibus Dumu-loc became a member of the First Dead Council, he took Ryglaglanis under his wing. The two men shared a chivalrous code, making them kindred spirits. After Raxcvillibus was betrayed by Dax, Ryglaglanis abandoned the Black Tide and traveled south across the Sea of Mourning to Ma'Ohari. At Tas'dvr Mout, he spent nine years awaiting Raxcvillibus's return from the Hells, serving as a soldier under the Lix Tetrax during this time. When Raxcvillibus finally returned, he found Ryglaglanis in poor health, nearly 60 years old and weakened by Ma'Ohari's notorious humidity and disease. Ryglaglanis had also suffered a touch of negative energy taint from the fortress's undead. Seeing Ryglaglanis's unwavering loyalty, Raxcvillibus elevated him to the order, transforming him into a death knight minion.
