Thuaxor Keozhal is the Infernal term for War Journals. They were written by Asmodeus during his time as sub-commander and later commander of Covenant forces in the Demon Spawn War. The tomes chronicle the history of this conflict, detailing the stratagems employed, as well as Asmodeus' own reflections. The book makes numerous references to Ares, as Asmodeus served under him during both the Creation War and a portion of the Demon Spawn War.

We will construct defensive formations, prosecuting the war on our own conditions. We will concentrate our strike forces and not disperse them so thinly as to encounter the demons in all locations.

Asmodeus, from Thuaxor Keozhal, V1-10 - "Force Concentration"

The above passage was part of Asmodeus's principles for confronting an adversary that outnumbered the Covenant by a substantial margin. Reflecting the icy resolve forged over centuries of conflict, Asmodeus once remarked to Athena, "The demons are too numerous; certain regions and populations will have to be abandoned to the foe. Not all can be preserved." Athena acknowledged this harsh reality, though she found the prospect of mass extinction deeply distressing.

On account of Raxcvillibus, copies of the Thuaxor Keozhal have made their way to some of the realm's preeminent libraries. During his tenure serving Apoxlin's Sentence (1485 - 1683), he frequently served under Asmodeus and freely utilized the latter's libraries. A number of the more intriguing volumes he had copied were then further reproduced and sold to collectors at several of MidrĂȘth's foremost libraries upon Raxcvillibus' return to Bal-Kriav.
