Map Diiv Prok Ridge

Diiv Prok is a formidable ridge separating the blistering storms of the Sands of Hell from the verdant lands of Durgat. The cliffs rise five hundred to a thousand feet above the desert, an unnatural formation. They were created during the Creation War when the legendary dragon Golruwyrm perished here battling a primordial army. She confronted an entire Primordial army and two primordial lords, Buldapulax and Kurrolath. Those she did not slay were obliterated when she died, her final breath a tempest of scorching sand that burned flesh, tore it from bone, and reduced the remnants to powder. Her demise resulted in a cliff wall resembling the back of a towering dragon. This precipice stretches not for hundreds, but thousands of miles, yet Golruwyrm's size was far smaller than the immense cliffs. One Plaque of Aphalur suggests that Bruh Kreniik played a role in transforming it into an unimaginably vast memorial for his fallen daughter.

The Tail of Golruwyrm begins along the western cliffs of this region. This auriferous vein, now depleted on the surface, extends into the Underdark, traversing Imgangreth, Miryeril, and culminating in Faeglor, where it terminates at Zarag-Gûn.
