Felân-Akthûl is a coastal region adorned with towering structures, each carved to resemble the bust of Danzar-Khâl's three sons. During the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , these monuments were constructed to counter the black ice of Perge'khas. At the time, this coastal region and the northern areas of the Gorejun continent formed the frontline for battles between the armies of the Covenant general Danzar-Khâl and those of a primordial lord named Cari'phis.

The Felân-Akthûl, utilizing their potent transmutation magic, continually draw in ocean water and transform it into the head of a lava river known as Lyrmadis. Centuries later, as this river approached the southern coastlines, an additional conversion station was established at Felân-Dûl, where the process is reversed, allowing the seawater to rejoin the ocean.

The three towers of Felân-Akthûl are each powered by a Sphere of Arcane ; these highly prized items are concealed behind a network of vaults, traps, and sentinels, and are perpetually relocated through an extensive labyrinth of tunnels. The entities responsible for this relocation are hammer golems and an ancient order of monks, established solely for maintaining operations and safeguarding the towers.

In the Horgon Era, brigands infiltrated Felân-Akthûl, absconding with tomes chronicling Danzar-Khâl's transmutation sorcery. The Šukhan Legion subsequently acquired these tomes, and at Geledh, are capable of transforming molten rock into water.
