Map Perge'khas Wasteland

Perge'khas is a vast, broken plain of unyielding black ice, a remnant of a glacier that rapidly and voraciously expanded across the lands of Gorejun. It was the spearhead of a primordial lord, one of many in the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) driven to undo Creation. Sent to counter this inter-system bridgehead was a Covenant general named Danzar-Khâl. His army battled the entropic legions of a primordial frost giant named Cari'phis, fighting deep into the glacier over great distances, against ice fortresses and through icy tunnels that stretched for hundreds of miles like tendrils.

When under Cari'phis's control, the glacier was guided by her thoughts alone, traversing the land at a pace far exceeding that of a typical glacier. Danzar-Khâl, then an Arch-Creationist, terraformed the landscape, slowing the Glacier of Perge'khas and crafting the sculpted spires of Felakgathar as well as the towers of Felân-Akthûl.

Cari'phis's capture prompted the glacier's retreat, causing it to diminish in scale, coiled up like a slumbering feline.

It was Athena's choice, much to the chagrin of Danzar-Khâl, to incarcerate her within the realm of Denerra; instead of eliminating her as Cari'phis had done to so many of our own.

The black ice of Perge'khas no longer fluctuates. Ever a frigid domain, it generates exceptionally harsh weather during the warmer seasons. Many of Perge'khas's ancient subterranean tunnels and ruins are inhabited by descendants of Cari'phis's invading forces - ice mephits, Thrallrir, frost giants, and Obyrith .
