In 296, colonists from the city of Tasartir, driven by ideals of an alternative system of governance, crossed the vast Salzârrâk Sea aboard Rîni military vessels. They then ventured inland, traversing the expansive Azrik Region, where on 17 Artifice 298, they founded the settlement of Andrithiach. These colonists, predominantly Kriavfahliil, established their new home in a valley they named Sorfandien. The western edge of the city followed a river canyon leading to the shores of the serene Droorlow lake. They chose to settle near this large, tranquil body of water for its plentiful resources and in order to renew their connection with the water spirits, something they had lost while residing inland at Tasartir.

The Andrithiachians instituted a system of governance rooted in the tenets outlined within the Gwildath Bureaucratic Codices, embracing a monarchical form of rule akin to that of their Gwildath forebears.

Bureaucracy was deeply ingrained in the culture of the Andrithiachian people. It formed the basis of the laws formulated by the Gwildath, curbing the natural entropic tendencies of the Kriavfahliil. The colonists who departed Kriav for the distant realm of Bal-Kriav brought the GBC (Gwildath Bureaucratic Codices) with them. The Andrithiach adhered to the GBC, just as their forebears once had in Celanil and as they continued to do in Gwildath.

In 299, the Melephaeusa Monarchy was founded, with Andrithiach designated as its capital city.

Before the Gulimor Cataclysm (996 - 1203), one could gaze from the city's fortifications upon dense evergreen forests in every direction. Regrettably, Andrithiach now stands as a great ruin, a haven for monsters, bandits, and magical remnants of the cataclysm. In more recent times, it has served as a base for minotaur rebels seeking to unseat Ba'lith's current ruler.

The subterranean sewers and mazes of Andrithiach interlink with the Inyon'van corridors that descend towards Fangath. This region is widely reputed to be perilous, inhabited by a variety of mystical entities and animated spells.
