The Gandûm-Thûr is an expansive mine situated within and around the Undercity. Mining operations commenced during the First Epoch, undertaken by a company originating from Tharuzbaluk, who extracted the mines' abundant silver. When they were subsequently driven from the area by Paradomea, the new owners continued to mine the silver, as well as a rare and valuable crystal. This crystal was adopted as currency in Paradomea, known as the crystal piece.

The mines can pose a perilous risk, owing to the abundance of deep rocks. This radioactive material subsequently led to the emergence of the mutants. Another indirect byproduct of the mine is the Maniac Conduit, a drug formulated to enhance the productivity of those laboring in the depths of Gandûm-Thûr.
