Knur Slagming, is Giant for Hollow Predator. It is a grassy expanse within the Inirthak sector of Grashakh. The most striking feature of the plain are the numerous large and small holes punctuating the landscape. During the Third Dragon Wake (1575 HE - 1576 HE), the larger cavities served as the exit point for the rampaging purple dragons. These denizens of the Underdark, driven by the frenzy of the Dragon Wake, emerged from the dark depths of Imgangreth and laid waste to the land above. Their destruction was not a calculated assault, but rather a primal urge to cause havoc.

In the Second Epoch, the Githirmil began claiming this open plain under the banner of the Orchish Empire. To them, it appeared to be a virgin area never before settled by axe and spade. However, they soon learned that the land remained untamed and unoccupied because it served as the platform for entities dwelling below. The pits of Knur Slagming plunge deep into the Underdark, with most opening above the Cthorgo Sea. At night, creatures of the Underdark, such as giant bats, stirges, and even the occasional purple dragon, ascend through these shafts in search of their nightly sustenance.

The holes punctuating Knur Slagming fluctuate in dimensions, with the diminutive measuring 10 feet across and the expansive up to half a mile in rough diameter. Those with an understanding of geology and excavation assert that these holes primarily originate from purple worms and other Underdark burrowers. These cavities are known by several appellations, with Phalgas's Eyelids being the most commonly utilized. The Githirmil possess their own term for them - Gruumsh's Spittoons.

The fertile Knur Slagming region is a vital grain belt, providing essential foodstuffs for the holdings of Inirthak within the Orchish Empire.
