This strategic valley, the gateway to the Hells Womb region, is littered with the ruins of castles and fortifications dating back to the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE). In more recent times, the first major conflict to leave its mark was the Sorrow Pass War. This was followed by the Gimhak War (1470 - 1479), and most recently, the Artery War (1546 - 1554).
Home to eroded fortifications and numerous ruins, Sorrow Pass boasts two renowned landmarks. One is the legendary stronghold of Galstyxe, the conqueror of armies. The other is Black Forge, a keep hailing from a distant realm.
