The Snowflake Manse is a magnificent blue ice complex situated at the head of the Chemosh Glacier. Conceived by the renowned wizard Foropode, it was designed with intricate ornamentation and robust magical defenses, rendering it highly fortified. Foropode utilized the labor of enslaved Thrallrir and frost giants in its construction. During the building process, Foropode terrorized the surrounding areas, extorting weaker populations and engaging in combat with those who refused to pay him tribute.
On 2 Temporal 555, the individual was escorted in magical shackles to Kennel, the capital of the Drugnod Dynasty (546 - 746). Charged as an insurgent, the person was entombed in ice. With its master absent, Snowflake Manse became the abode of former slaves. It then transformed into a lair for a family of white dragons, as well as numerous others who maintained control until a more powerful force emerged.
In 1033, the ancient ruin of Snowflake Manse was plundered by the Theegan. They uncovered Foropode's secret library and one of his hidden vaults. The recovered books were then sold to the witch leaders in Incubus. A decade later, the witches ventured to Foropode's old arcane forging grounds, Silfergaths Bile, where they crafted the legendary artifacts Blizzard & Firestorm.
The Snowflake Manse currently serves as the abode of frost giants, white dragons, yeti, and an assortment of other ice-dwelling entities. Towering at the center of the castle stands a colossal tower molded in the shape of an icicle. Intermittently, this enchanted structure projects a volley of icicles across the encompassing glacier, freezing and eliminating anything unfortunate enough to be struck.
