Born in the city of Celebriän, Foropode was a preeminent practitioner of ice magic. Adept at channeling elemental energies, he crafted potent magical artifacts, developed novel spells, and enhanced existing ones. Foropode pioneered the transformation of the fire-based spell, Fireball, into an air and water variant, creating the spell known as Iceball.
At the vanguard of the Chemosh Glacier, he engaged the services of Thrallrir and frost giants, constructing an elaborate stronghold known as Snowflake Manse.
In Order 3C, a national plan to civilize the people who would become the Drugnod Dynasty (546 - 746) was enacted. During this period, Forope aligned himself with the tribes resisting centralized control. He became a formidable mercenary for these nomadic groups, instilling such fear that even the rumor of his presence caused military units to retreat. This ultimately compelled Gaufthaur Drugnod, the leader of the Drugnod Dynasty, to address the troublesome wizard personally.
On the 2nd of Temporal in the year 555, Foropode was struck down by Gaufthaur's formidable weapon, the Osyluth Scythe. Encased in a block of ice, Foropode was transported back to the city of Kennel, where he is occasionally presented to visiting foreign dignitaries or used to entertain the current ruler of the city, the demon Yack-Leban.
The Icelandic Staff is Foropode's most renowned magical creation. While less famous, his tomes played a pivotal role in the crafting of the artifacts Blizzard & Firestorm.
