Mokerrian, often referred to as the Ravager, is a product of Covenant experimentation. Possessing a serpent-like neck connected to a spider's body, Mokerrian was the first Neogi. Created in secret, a Covenant investigation of a covert military lab resulted in her escape, along with many other anomalies. Stowed away in a baggage train bound for a demon-infested world, she ultimately found herself on Cryphoeca. For the remainder of the Demon Spawn War, she battled the demons and expanded her neogi army. The neogi population was widely believed to have descended from Mokerrian. Lukoon's Covenant agents learned that Mokerrian utilized giant spiders for fertilization, leading to smaller and less demon-like offspring. Mokerrian's control over the neogi became problematic, as the neogi also possessed a desire to dominate their own creations. Phalagas added a footnote to Lukoon's report, describing the neogi as "tainted by demon beginnings, a vile race of ravagers and destroyers of civilization, eating themselves to starvation." Ultimately, Mokerrian was killed by neogi who conspired against her during her most vulnerable state, as she was delivering another brood of hundreds.
Mokerrian's ascension to divinity occurred during the Horgon Era. Devoid of religious tradition, it commenced with the neogi of Arachnidion. The impetus was a self-serving desire, as Arachnidion sought an advantage over their adversaries. Mokerrian was already a revered cultural figure, so they converted this status into worship. After centuries of proselytizing and crusading, the immense spiritual power generated by the multitude of devotees culminated in Mokerrian's rebirth. On 14 Witchrite 1426 HE, she ascended as the neogi's inaugural deity.
