The Third Instructor, known as 3-I, is an artificial construct dating back to the Lost Ages. In the early Dawn Era, 3-I lay dormant and adrift for ages within the Sea of Entropy. Eventually, it detected a vulnerability in this chaotic domain and activated, following the directives of its long-deceased creators.
- seek out and exploit this weakness
- begin the renewal
Decades of ardent search and ceaseless surveillance ensued, seeking those of comparable purpose. By the Year 70 DE, the Third Instructor had allied with Bruh Kreniik and other Creationists in their objective of reconstructing the universe. Collaborating with those of comparable "programming", 3-I observed and investigated the minds around him, seeking the malady of entropy, annihilator of bygone eras.
On the nineteenth of Artifice in the year 78 of the Dawn Era, the Third Instructor, in his inaugural act as a Sphere Creationist, constructed the realm now recognized as the Gears Infinite. Three years thereafter, he populated this peculiar domain with its novel inhabitants, the Modron and other artificial beings suited for a world often deemed unfathomable by the standards of the present age.
In the Year 98 of the Dawn Era, the entity known as 3-I initiated the creation of the realm of Machinum.
