On the 19th of Lunar in the year 578 of the Dawn Era, two creationists, the Third Instructor and Bruh Kreniik, established a permanent tear in the fabric of the world Gears Infinite. This rift was designed to channel excess mass from this world into the Sea of Entropy. Without this mechanism, Gears Infinite, which is constantly expanding, would destabilize all the realms of the Mechanus System.

Once traversing the rift, bolstered by Negative Entropy, the surplus of an ever-expanding realm coalesces to form the Endless Wall. This colossal structure drifts along the Sea of Entropy, towering thousands of feet high and stretching on immeasurably. Some speculate it to be a seed sown by the lords of negative entropy, imposing order upon the thresholds of Chaos.

The Endless Wall is not haphazard or erratic, but rather uniform in its height and thickness. This lends credence to the belief that it is not a product of Chaos, but rather a Seed of Stability, imparting order amidst the disorder.

Over time, spanning perhaps centuries, the composition of this wall transforms, becoming a tawny stone that is exceedingly robust and impervious to sound and corrosion. Both the wall and the extracted stone possess a limited capacity to reflect magic and psionics back towards the source.

Garaldrarg, a venerable fortress at the core of Sapthiladân, was constructed entirely with blocks procured from the Endless Wall. The method by which the stone titans amassed such vast amounts of material from the Endless Wall remains enigmatic.

The Endless Wall serves as a focal point for Negative Entropy. This means that any lawful-aligned creature that battles chaos within a mile of the wall gains the ability to Smite Chaos with every attack.

An aberration, a minion of Chaos, stands beside Neeth-Theen's new Chaos warlord. Alien to this world, it focuses a cyclopean eye towards the distant walls. The view narrows, becoming binocular. The aberration scans the block pattern, observing that one block in every five is disturbingly familiar. Unsettled by the sight of the enemy citadel, he informs the general, "It is constructed with blocks from the Endless Wall!" Looking slightly paler, he continues, "You may not sense it, but we of Chaos do. We stand a mile from the walls, yet I can feel the negative entropy emanating from this place." His eye quivers and rolls upwards, attempting to shield itself from the invisible energies radiating outward from Sapthiladân's imposing, reputedly impregnable walls, which many claim are impervious to anything but the might of Atlas.
