Triton

Triton is one of Poseidon's more renowned offspring, born to him and Amphitrite. Akin to his mother, he underwent a change of heart during the Creation War, abandoning Chaos's destroyers, the primordials, to join the side supporting Creation under the auspices of the Nawirrûs Covenant.

Triton possessed a vast harem consisting solely of Merfolk. Commencing in 2601 DE, the progeny of this harem became renowned as the tritons. Given that these descendants markedly differed from the merfolk, courtesy of Triton's primeval lineage, they were categorized as a distinct race.
