The world Bal-Kriav was initially known as Sphere 411 in the years following its creation in 1451 DE. Three decades after its formation, it became the frontline in a war between the gods and the primordials, known as the Creation War. This conflict endured for 7,291 years and gave rise to renowned military leaders such as Ares, Athena, and Asmodeus, among others. In the subsequent God Era, another epic war gripped Bal-Kriav and other worlds across the Asteraoth and Quara'tun systems. This conflict, known as the Demon Spawn War, although not as world-changing as the Creation War, left lasting impacts on its inhabitants. Notable generals like Gruumsh and Naraz-Nâru emerged from this turbulent period. Theologians attribute the prevalence of War Gods in Bal-Kriav's pantheon to these prolonged and brutal conflicts.
The sole criterion for being considered a War God is possessing the war domain granted by a Higher Power. Priests devoted to War Gods are the exclusive practitioners of specialized spells focused entirely on the art of warfare.
