The Khazarkar Empire's briefest military campaign aimed to subjugate the Gilraen Oligarchy as a vassal state. The Gilraen's strategic locale, particularly their capital city of Erchinor, posed a security risk against the intensifying activity on the Core Sea, primarily from the south as the expansionist Orchish Empire probed northward.
Several key events arose from this war beyond Gilraen's vassalage. The foremost was the Monotheism Proclamation, which prohibited the veneration of any deity except Set. This sparked the exodus of thousands of Kriavfahliil to the rugged vale they christened Teretellin. Their flight gave rise to the ongoing Salbâth Insurgency. Other changes included geographic renamings, such as Teretellin being designated the Salbâth valley on Khazarkar maps, while the city of Erchinor remarkably retained its original appellation.
