In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), forces under Athroond's best aquatic general, then mortal Blibdoolpoolp, expanded outward from the Arioch Cloud and seized a coastal stretch of the Green Nebulous. They established an outpost, raised Athroond's banner, and rounded up the local populace. Some were enslaved, others pressed into military service under a demon, and others met a more sinister fate. As this territorial consolidation progressed, the village of Belogrell, built atop and within the grottoes honeycombed by the Hair of Sivadex, became a hub of revelry, gambling, trade, slave markets, mining camps, forges, and farms. The entire area was the property of Athroond, and a substantial portion of the commerce was sent to the Chest Trains of Curatoch, then shipped to Arioch, Athroond's home world. The demon garrison at Bamus Morevie maintained security, launching sorties into the nearby sand reaches to the southeast.

By 150 GE, Belogrell had blossomed into a formidable bastion stretching along the banks of the Sivadex. Hundreds of sturdy rope and vine bridges crisscrossed the city, elevated high enough to permit the passage of ships into the bustling harbors of this thriving commercial center. It was home to a diverse array of sentient aquatic lifeforms, including the aboleth and kuo-toa, as well as a dozen distinct demon species scattered across the expansive underground domain. This subterranean realm proved arduous to conquer, with the Covenant forces engaged in battles at sea, throughout the subterranean realm, and against hostile earth elementals that moved through earth and rock with unnatural ease.

When the Covenant escalated their assaults on Athroond's holdings, Belogrell's naval forces gained a formidable reputation across the Green Nebulous, maintaining perilous supply routes and safeguarding the region's sole adamantine mine. More crucial then than now, the adamantine extracted from this mine was transported back to Athroond's homeworld, where it commanded exorbitant prices.

In 296 GE, Belogrell's naval forces were defeated by the Green Nebulous, leading to a decade-long blockade. This era was marked by purges, political intrigue, and a growing resentment of the populace towards Emperor Athroond. By the time their ruler was lost to the Arioch Cloud, Belogrell had been pillaged twice by the Covenant and subsequently devolved into a battleground for minor warlords.

In the year 705 of the Horgon Era, the ruined settlement of Belogrell was recolonized by drow settlers originating from the city of Filion'lyr.

In the year 855 HE, the settlement of Vhurindrar was established by Belogrell colonists. In 1600 HE, Vhurindrar proclaimed its autonomy, initiating the Nebulous War.

When the Mir'piamauza Empire fell in 1612 HE, five-thousand Gradorian refugees were granted Belogrell citizenship in exchange for military service.

In the Tradeway Wars (1131 - 1231), Belogrell engaged in conflict with the drow city-states comprising the Chari'they Alliance.

In the year 1140, allied with the mighty Kal-Oni Empire, Belogrell participated in the pillaging of the city of Yis-Lorill from below.

The Belogrell Kingdom maintains a longstanding mutual defense alliance with the Paradomea Syndicate.
