In the year 1454, the valiant heroes of Black Banner infiltrated the Spore Labyrinth deep within the confines of Alluvium Deep. Sequestered in a cell, awaiting a grim fate as spore fodder, they discovered Garn.
In the Black Tide War ( 1465 - 1486 ) , Garn commanded the Black Tide army of Kambar-Ghul. Battling the Farinteen Alliance, Garn rode into combat upon a crimson dracolich named Flameghulead. He was subsequently appointed to the First Dead Council as a potential ally of the Black Tide's numerous factions.
In 1475, Garn met his demise at Ebonstar. He was dispatched by Sanguine commandos of the Squad X7E unit. One of the items retrieved from his body as evidence of his death was one of his eyes. This item was then transported to Outpost Prime and turned over to the Evidence Department of the Sanguine Whispers. Ultimately, this eye would be discovered amidst the ruins of Outpost Prime and subsequently enchanted by a githyanki necromancer, resulting in the creation of the Eye of Garn, a unique piece of hand jewelry.
