Yoltaas Dinok Klov, scion of Apocalypse, was born among the rugged crags of Urkthal. In his early years, he brazenly terrorized the Theegans of Muzratân, and the peoples he deemed his domain by virtue of his draconic heritage. The dwarves and Tungesti endured his relentless attacks for decades. Later, when the Farinteen Dynasty brought a measure of stability to the Lands of Purity, Yoltaas was compelled to act with greater caution. However, he reverted to his former ways when the region was destabilized by the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486).

On 22 Temporal 1477, within the confines of Athena's Daggers and under the watchful gaze of Tîra-Phâth dragon cultists, Yoltaas Dinok Klov underwent a transformation into a dracolich. In exchange for this metamorphosis, Yoltaas Dinok Klov was bound to serve the Black Tide until the conclusion of the Black Tide War.

Flameghulead is undependable. I am aware he has attempted to remove me from lofty altitudes through abrupt descents and barrel rolls even when I am unprepared for them, and piloted dangerously near obstacles in what appeared to be efforts to crash me into jagged cliffs, or narrowly risked decapitation by a tree branch.

Flameghulead's metamorphosis from the living to the undead was the catalyst for his newfound belief in forces far exceeding himself and the confines of this world. He was introduced to the ways of Thasmudyan by proselytizers serving Katrana, and subsequently embraced this God of the Undead as his patron deity.

When Garn was eliminated by Sanguine assassins, Flameghulead was conspicuously absent from Ebonstar. He vanished during the assault on the location and was never seen again. There are numerous rumors and legends surrounding his fate, any of which could be accurate. Some claim he was engulfed by a rift during the battle, while others assert he flew far north into Elemantum, joining the fiery brutes of Anubeth.
