In 1024, a Bralda-Balc exploration team returned to Kal-Oni with relics and tomes from the Spire of Neld-Rac. All but one of the items found in this Helas Vessel was of Durkoth make. The lone exception was a dragon orb crafted by Coldwrath, the founder of the dragon cult Vith Alok.

This mystical dragon orb, the Orb of Dominion, exerted a degree of influence over members of Bralda-Balc, providing them with methods to control and sway dragon-kind. During the downfall of Bralda-Balc, one of the factions that broke away was the Tîra-Phâth. Following their banishment from Zayr, they journeyed northward with the orb to a frontier settlement known as Scartaris.

In 1065, the cultists of Tîra-Phâth constructed their new headquarters within Athena's Daggers. From this storied location, rich in dragon folklore, and with the aid of their Orb of Dominion, they exercised sway over the surrounding region. They extorted funds from locals under the guise of "safeguarding against dragons", and sold trained blue dragons to the Apocalypse Corps.

In 1265, agents of Tîra-Phâth pilfered the Whitefang secrets on cultivating dragon-blooded humanoids known as the Diiv Kiir. Initially, only privileged cult females received the chance to bear dragon-descended progeny. However, with the rate of births proving too gradual, the cult commenced abducting subjects from Scartaris and other settlements. Following three centuries of this practice, the lineages grew robust enough for the dragon-descended to maintain the bloodlines.

In the year 1330, Tîra-Phâth became a cell of a much larger dragon cult known as the Vith Alok.
