Tinvaakin Kurtulmak, a term in the Draconic tongue, translates to "Speakers of Kurtulmak." In the year 1560 HE, they persuaded Ashmerthoon's dragon emperor, a senile yellow dragon named Artang-Sund, to impart an ancient and exceptionally perilous ritual. They cleverly convinced him that he would be revered not only as a great leader but also as a distinguished instructor. The most potent magic they acquired was the Dragon Wake Ritual.
Requiring fifteen years to gather the necessary ingredients and align with the celestial bodies, on 12 Brightstar 1575 HE, they evoked the Dragon Wake Ritual. It came during the waning years of the Mir'piamauza and Zeymah'kein empires, violently escalating the death toll. Known as the Third Dragon Wake (1575 HE - 1576 HE), this dragon scourge hastened the downfall of both Mir'piamauza and the Zeymah'kein. It caused extensive property damage and heavy casualties in the lands of Ashmerthoon and other peoples beyond the Aerie of Dragons.
When the Third Dragon Wake concluded, the Tinvaakin Kurtulmak secured the dragon ritual tome within a Living Vault, which necessitates 22 distinct keys to unlock and has remained unopened since that time.
The majority of the guild's members are practitioners of dragon sorcery, and similar to Ashmerthoon, do not maintain friendly relations with the dragons or those of dragon lineage.
