Born amidst the evergreen landscapes of Gorkith, Morbakh was one of eight siblings. Hailing from a household where the father belonged to the warrior clan and the mother to the trade clan, the children were instilled with a measured perspective on the world, with the guiding principle that "war must yield gains in land, peoples, and resources."

In 1484, at merely 16 years old, Morbakh's contingent of hired soldiers seized control of the city-state of Khatúlg. Through this triumph, the youthful Morbakh was hailed as an Ogre Lord - the youngest to ever attain such a distinguished title.

In 1511, decisively defeated on the battlefield by the formidable Orchish Empire, Morbakh conceded the Morbakh Ceasefire, thereby concluding the First Ogre War that had raged from 1505 to 1511.

In 1531, the seasoned adventurer Morbakh led an unsanctioned expedition to plunder the Barrow of Agdúm. When his forward scouts began fleeing the area, visibly aged beyond their years, Morbakh and his experienced comrades ventured into the barrow. They passed by the frail and the piles of dust, soon to join them. Within the burial chamber of Agdúm, Morbakh succeeded in obtaining the object of his desire, the Hoof of Gluttony. In a fighting retreat, he battled Agdúm's Ghost Harem for hours. Slain at the barrow's entrance, Morbakh was infused with the unholy blessing of Rioch Tetrax, transforming him into a Taln'nazân Famine Spirit-King.

No weapon could penetrate Morbakh's substantial frame. Two groups of gnolls were either torn asunder by a bony implement fashioned in the shape of a donkey's hindquarter, or had their heads severed. Multiple sorties of our covert asset, the malodorous dragon Argontholopus, combined with a generous application of ranged sorcery, ultimately compelled the scourge to retreat.
