At the tender age of 14, Tarorak embarked on a life of piracy. He quickly gained a reputation among the crews he served with as a captivating raconteur, embellishing tales as needed to enthrall his audiences. Tarorak took great delight in the sound of his own voice.
In the year 1800, at the tender age of 17, he courageously fought in the Battle of Bloodtusk Bay. During this naval engagement, he sustained the loss of an eye and one of his horns while battling the ominous death ships of the Armada of the Damned - vessels crewed by the undead under the command of Jairall Bloodtusk.
In 1815, he was seized by Ba'lith's naval forces and conscripted into service.
In the Cinazan Front, he was a crew member of the Pillar of Horns. He was recruited by the Pillar's captain due to his exceptional ability to foster morale and camaraderie among the crew. The captain sought out this seasoned pirate, a former outlaw with a bounty on his head across Ba'lith's ports, as far north as Paradomea City, west to the pearly walls of Vraga Moltus, and east to the bone isles of Necrocrypt's undead masters.
Even though he serves within the ranks of the Ba'lith naval forces, Tarorak's heart lies with the life of a pirate. He pays little heed to matters of appearance, with wrinkled garments and sullied footwear being the common state of his attire.
Sergeant Tarorak, the weathered minotaur, is the first to arrive. Commanding a squad of seasoned marines, his disfigured appearance - a missing eye, a broken horn, and battle scars from numerous maritime engagements - is a testament to his former career as a pirate before accepting the emperor's offer. Despite his grizzled demeanor, he remains uneasy in the presence of the undead, recalling his father's tales of their bestial moans and howls, yet never imagining their capacity for speech. With trepidation, the sergeant approaches his captain.
