The energy of a null mine is given physical form in Webreaver, an ancient weapon forged during the Dawn Era by those serving the primordials. Created to slash through the Web of Magic, it was first used to open the Henmona Rift, leading to the Primordial invasion of Kriav.
In the Abyssal Release ( 7777 DE - 8777 DE ) , Webreaver fell into the possession of Sathumort. During the subsequent major conflict, the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) , Sathumort utilized Webreaver to reopen the Henmona Rift and then create another, known as the Sathumort Pocket.
After the fall of Una'gah and the demise of Sathumort, this formidable armament was acquired by the elite Maeraddyth Brigade. During their withdrawal to the Sathumort Pocket, the weapon was regrettably lost to a horde of demonic entities.
Many centuries later, Githyanki explorers of the ruins of Una'gah uncovered the plans for constructing the Webreaver. By this juncture, the energy binding elements and the Web of Magic had substantially fortified. The githyanki proved unable to fabricate another weapon akin to the Webreaver. They instead created something less formidable, the inaugural silver sword. While not as powerful as the Webreaver, silver swords remain formidable armaments when employed within the Astral Sea.
In the Horgon Era, Webreaver was wielded by Thyrm. Entrusting it to one of his shamans on Bal-Kriav, it facilitated the opening of the Fjorstaki Rift, thereby conjuring the otherworldly glacier of Anzar.
Webreaver is a +6 vorpal force saddle sword.
